Special Event for Corporate Clients at a Unique Venue
We reserved a famous temple to design a special event, complete with stage entertainment, for associates of a major international corporation.
They were delighted by a truly Japanese experience that combined the traditional with the modern.
JTB Communication Design (JCD) oversaw the networking event which included many highlights. We cooperated with JTB Global Marketing & Travel Co., Ltd., who oversaw the accommodation and transport arrangements for the guests.
Because of repeated examinations and negotiations between us and the temple venue, we eventually received permission to use the site for the event.
As it was a big corporate event, we coordinated all the details together with the temple.
Since it was held outdoors, careful planning was carried out, considering the possibilities of sudden rain, for the need for extra toilet facilities, or for 50 busses to have to come in at any time to transport the over 2000 attendees.
Because it became possible to host the event at such a stunning location, we decided to create a program that connected to the Japanese feel of the venue and themed it after a temple festival. We offered a concept which included candy stalls, Awa dancers, and a Taiko drum performance.
Afterward, an after-party was held at another venue. Here, a karaoke room was set up, but also a jazz floor and a dance floor for the visitors to enjoy.
