Building on what we did at World Expo 2005 in Aichi, we handled the total management of the united pavilion of 15 APAC countries at the Shanghai World Expo.
Operation of the Pacific 15 Nations Union Pavilion
JCD was responsible for the set-up and operation of the Pacific Pavilion, which brought together 15 countries from various island nations in the Pacific Ocean, and was enjoyed by many visitors without any major disruptions. JCD's coordination skills were demonstrated in liaison and coordination with the Expo Bureau of Shanghai International Expo and with the exhibiting countries. In addition, JCD was actively involved in public relations activities during the exposition and made a great contribution to the management of the National Day (including the reception of guests).
The 15 Pacific Island Nations/organizations that were represented:
Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Palau, Tonga, Micronesia, Samoa, Fiji, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue
South Pacific Tourism Organization and Pacific Island Nations Forum
JCD was awarded the "Shanghai World Expo Model Pavilion Award" by the World Expo Bureau for its outstanding management of the pavilion!
